I. Introductory Summary
Some months are shockingly reassuring. Some months are bogged down. Some months feel like you are grinding your teeth just to move a millimetre. While other months… contain all of the above.
I am not gonna sugarcoat it; November feels like a Greek tragedy written by Euripides himself. Avoidable disasters. Missed opportunities. A plot twist when you are ready to call it quits on everything. And a background chorus telling you where you are failing and where you are succeeding. It might feel like you are pushing while actively getting drained and that there are forces in your life that are actively working against you. The first half of November might feel like an intense culmination that needs to be chopped down like a tumour. But it is really important to understand the difference between a genuine and disastrous crisis, and a depleted nervous system that just wants to sever a tie to make the noise stop. Be aware of your limitations in the Leo sector of your life and understand that sometimes things stand still because we have been running on too little for too long. Think of it like turning on a boiler without fuel in an abandoned, cold house, during the month’s coldest day. Working yourself to the bone without the right structure to fall back on when you have exhausted yourself will just lead to one thing for certain: burnout.
If you want to see exactly where this burnout is hitting your chart, jump down to your Ascendant sign below, or read all the way past the horoscopes for the full-month astrological deep-dive.
By the time we get to the middle of the month, on 13/11, you most likely will feel this urgent itch to say the snappy, severing thing. Shut the door when you don’t want to hear it anymore. Send that inflammatory email or message. But it is important to just take a moment and… stop. Take a breath. Put your phone down. Soften your steps. It feels so much more sensitising right now than it actually is in reality. The fallout is more costly than the momentary relief. Scream into a pillow. Punch the air. Cry in the shower. Let it out, but not to their face.
There is a specific backdrop that permeates all of November. It feels like backtracking through the first two weeks, before finally unlocking the support you need in the second half. Venus stations direct on Saturday 14/11; she arrives like a breath of fresh air, the pause, the breeze that comes in and asks us to look beyond ourselves. Libra is a sign where Venus is at home and Saturn exalts. Where sweetness and bitterness are constantly in need of balance. Boundaries, audits, discussions. This is also why November will hit day sect charts (if you were born during the day) much harder than night sect charts. Night charts have their chief ally, Venus, right at home in Libra holding the line, whereas day charts have to watch their allies, Jupiter and Saturn, get drained in Leo and stalled out in Aries. The Aries sector of your life has been undergoing a rough restructuring, and that brittleness has probably been right front and centre. How can you uphold boundaries with others when you haven’t been upholding them with yourself first? General Ascendant horoscopes can tell you which room of your house the weather is hitting, but they cannot see your sect or the natal planets you have living inside that room. If you want to know how your actual chart is wired to handle this, or if you just want some clarity on how to navigate the pressure, you are always welcome to book a one-on-one natal reading or a personal forecast with me. The backdrop of this month is asking you to realise where you need to take accountability for rushing, while also asking you to be patient. Patience is what opens the door to support from an external mediator, a sweet treat, or a friend who eventually comes through.
Eventually, the heavy fog clears into a scatter of colour in one corner of our lives while we finally get some practical grounding in another. The mutable signs are our saving grace this month while the fixed axis is being run into a brick wall. This month rewards flexibility, patience, and rest, so be kind to yourself. The beginning will feel like a traffic jam. The middle will feel like a turning point. A turning point but not necessarily moving ahead again. The movement and flexibility returns towards the end once the Sun moves into Sagittarius, the Gemini Full Moon takes place, and Mars leaves Leo for the more grounded Virgo. The air will feel easier to breathe in the latter half of November, just… don’t do something you can’t come back from.
Use the categorical cheat sheet below to spot the overarching patterns across your chart’s building blocks, then scroll down to your Ascendant sign for a transit-by-transit breakdown. Below that you find the full transit deep-dive. If this month is hitting a tender nerve in your life and you want to look beyond general horoscopes, I offer both natal chart readings and personal forecasts to help you map out your specific sky with a bit more breathing room.

II. Horoscopes
The best way to read the horoscopes below is to look at it through the lense of your Ascendant, Sect light, and Ascendant ruler. See above categorical sheet to know the ruler of your Ascendant and then find it in your chart and read for the sign that it appears in.
Day Sect: Look at your Sun, if born during the day.
Night Sect: Look at your Moon, if born during the night.
Aries
Key words
Contractual diplomacy, creative burnout, shared debts, big-picture relief, workplace triage
Key dates
09/11, 13/11, 14/11, 16/11, 22/11, 24/11, 26/11, 28/11, 30/11
Throughout the month, the main takeaways are to keep a cool head and let someone else do the talking for a bit. Allow yourself to slow down and do a stock inventory of what actually needs your attention. Don’t ignore those unpaid bills on the table; you’ll feel more relaxed once they’re dealt with.
-
Your entire month hangs on the angular tug-of-war between self and other, between raw assertion and necessary compromise. Saturn sits retrograde and fallen in your 1st house, leaving your personal boundaries and physical stamina running on a dry, obstructed heat. You may feel a persistent, gravelly fatigue in your body, an urge to push through obstacles paired with an irritating lack of physical endurance to back it up. Normally, you would look to your chart ruler, Mars, to bail you out. Instead, Mars spends most of the month in your 5th house of Leo alongside Jupiter and the South Node, running hot and dry while actively bleeding away the fuel he needs to hold your frame upright. Holding yourself upright cannot be done through sheer willpower right now. Across the sky in your 7th house of Libra, Venus stations direct on 14/11, bringing warm, moist Sanguine breath and fresh circulation into a parched room. When your own nervous system is frayed and running on fumes, you have to let a partner, a trusted counterparty, or a clear contractual agreement step in to steady the line for you.
That support becomes vital during the first half of the month, when the pressure locks into your succedent houses of money, debt, and shared obligations. The drained, irritable heat in your 5th house is caught in a grinding square with the stagnant, cold moisture pooling in your 8th house of Scorpio. Between the Scorpio New Moon on 09/11, Mercury stationing direct on 13/11, and Mars perfecting his conjunction with Jupiter and the South Node on 16/11, your creative passions, personal pride, and desire for joy collide head-on with shared liabilities and emotional entanglements. Imagine trying to enjoy a night out or pour yourself into a passion project while an unpaid bill, a joint debt, or an unresolved emotional ledger sits unaddressed on the counter. The harder you push to feel spontaneous and alive, the more that cold 8th-house swamp clings to your feet, siphoning away your vitality until creative burnout sets in. You get right to the edge of snapping, ready to sever an agreement out of sheer exhaustion just to make the damp heaviness stop, but… you pause. You recognise that an impulsive, scorched-earth exit will leave a messy financial crater you simply do not have the energy to clean up.
The release valve finally opens in the cadent spaces of your chart on 22/11, when the Sun enters Sagittarius and lights a clean diurnal fire in your 9th house. Stepping out of that 5th-and-8th house stalemate feels like walking out of a damp, windowless basement into crisp autumn air. Long-range plans, educational goals, and your overarching convictions regain their momentum. Then, on 24/11, the Gemini Full Moon cracks open across your 3rd house with a surge of restless, volatile air, standing your immediate inbox, sibling dynamics, and short-term logistics directly against your broader vision. Can you keep running yourself ragged putting out every minor logistical brushfire while trying to build a long-term life? No; you have to let the immediate mental chatter scatter so you can keep your eyes on the horizon.
The practical anchor drops on 26/11 when Mars leaves the exhausting theatre of Leo and enters Virgo, your 6th house of daily labour, routines, and physical maintenance. Cold, dry Melancholic earth takes the wheel and puts the brakes on the madness. Instead of bleeding precious heat over pride and debts, Mars cools down into a sharp, sober diagnostic tool. Your focus shifts naturally into workplace triage, organising routines, and taking methodical care of your physical body. By the time Venus perfects her sextile to Jupiter on 28/11 and the Sun trines Saturn on 30/11, earlier relationship compromises bear fruit, giving your personal boundaries the solid structural backing they lacked all month. Let someone else balance the scales while you get your daily machinery running smoothly.
Taurus
Key words
Domestic friction, contractual standoffs, daily routine anchors, financial unfreezing, focused craft
Key dates
09/11, 10/11–16/11, 13/11, 14/11, 22/11, 24/11, 26/11, 28/11
This month invites you to look at the structural integrity of your home and partners. Things are stressful and you’ve got a lot on your plate right now. Help is coming, but not without a trial through fire. Eventually the money will come through, but make sure your paperwork is in order so nothing falls between the floorboards. You’ll eventually be able to cool down with that creative project you’ve been putting off.
-
Being an earth sign born in the middle of spring, your natural temperament relies on a very specific balance: the cool, solid structure of earth softened by the warm, life-giving moisture of spring. You are built like fertile garden soil, able to hold firm boundaries while staying accommodating enough for things to grow. Right at the start of November, however, the sky is actively baking the moisture out of your foundations. Down at the root of your chart in the 4th house of home, family, and private property, Mars, Jupiter, and the South Node are bunched together in Leo. Leo is fire in the height of summer, making it doubly hot and dry; with the South Node draining the tank toward the 16/11 conjunction, that heat is not warming your home, it is parching it. What does excessive dryness actually do to a household in practice? Dryness separates and hardens. When a room gets too dry, people lose their elasticity; nobody yields, nobody lets a small comment slide, and every minor domestic disagreement grates like sandpaper because everyone is too brittle to bend.
To make matters louder, that parched 4th house is locked in a direct square with your 7th house of partnerships and contracts, where the Sun, retrograde Mercury, and the 09/11 New Moon are all pooling in Scorpio. Scorpio is autumn water, mixing cold, heavy moisture with a sharp, melancholic edge of self-protection. While your home life is running hot and irritable, a partner or counterparty across the table is digging into a cold, defensive trench. The image here is that of you trying to sell your house after a divorce, but the boiler gave in and your ex refuses to pick up the phone to let you know they signed the selling agreement. Why can you not just sleep it off? Look into the cadent back rooms of your chart, where the glue holding your daily life together is being stress-tested all month. Saturn sits retrograde and fallen in your 12th house of solitude and sleep, making private rest feel wired, restless, and unrecuperative, like lying awake at 3 a.m. with a tight jaw. Running on empty in private means you cannot fix your exhaustion by locking yourself away in your own head. Fortunately, your chart ruler Venus stations direct in her home sign of Libra on 14/11 right in your 6th house of daily labour, health routines, and service. Between 10/11 and 16/11, Venus catches the sextiles from that overheated Leo cluster, carrying the burden of keeping the peace while Saturn struggles in the 12th. Even when Mercury stations direct on 13/11 and tempts someone to drop a bridge-burning ultimatum, leaning into the steady rhythm of your daily tasks, a reliable health routine, or the practical help of a coworker or service worker will keep your feet planted on solid ground.
A release finally arrives in the succedent houses that support your life on 22/11, when the Sun steps out of Scorpio and lights a clean diurnal fire in your 8th house of shared resources, debts, and joint obligations. Trading his tense standoff with Mars for a warm, cooperative trine with Jupiter, the Sun begins thawing out the financial gridlock and settlements that were frozen in resentment two weeks prior. Just before the Moon goes full on 24/11, she travels through your 1st house in Taurus, where she is exalted, giving your physical body a moment to catch its breath before she crosses into Gemini and illuminates your 2nd house of personal income. That Full Moon sparks an electric audit between what is owed in the 8th and what you actually earn and spend in the 2nd, demanding that your paperwork and bank balances match up in plain daylight.
Two days later, on 26/11, Mars finally vacates your 4th house, ending the domestic heatwave as he enters Virgo and brings cold, dry Melancholic earth into your 5th house of pleasure and creative projects. Instead of burning through your living room, Mars cools down, contracts, and puts firm, analytical brakes on speculative risks and impulsive indulgences. That dry, measured earth pulls you out of emotional exhaustion and channels your focus into disciplined creative craftsmanship, letting you finally sit down at your workbench and build that project you have been putting off piece by piece. By 28/11, Venus perfects her second sextile to Jupiter, moving faster than he is now to deliver overdue recognition and support for all the thankless maintenance work you shouldered earlier in the month.
Gemini
Key words
Administrative overload, workplace friction, creative sanctuary, partnership renewal, domestic boundaries
Key dates
09/11, 13/11, 14/11, 16/11, 22/11, 24/11, 26/11, 30/11
The first half of the month is going to test your patience with everyday admin, tedious workplace politics, and a schedule that feels like it is working against you. Do not let a bad afternoon at your desk trick you into sending an email you cannot take back. Unplug from demanding group chats when your battery runs low, make time for the hobbies that actually make you happy, and hold on until the final week of November when your relationships and personal energy get a massive second wind.
-
Mercury rules your chart, and for the first two weeks of November, Mercury is stuck trudging through the mud of your 6th house in Scorpio. Trudging through the mud is the exact opposite of how you are built to operate. As an air sign in the middle of spring, Gemini is doubly Sanguine: warm, moist, circulating, and designed to dart quickly from one idea or conversation to the next. When you take that breezy, inquisitive temperament and trap it inside Scorpio, an autumn water sign that is cold, wet, and edged with melancholic dryness, you get mental fog and heavy condensation. Instead of your thoughts moving like a fresh cross-breeze, your daily work, health routines, and interactions with colleagues feel like sitting in a damp, unventilated basement.
What makes the start of the month so taxing is that this cold, defensive 6th-house swamp is answering to Mars over in your 3rd house of Leo. While your workplace or physical body feels sluggish and bogged down, your 3rd house of daily errands, local travel, siblings, and communication is burning through double-Choleric summer fire as Mars, Jupiter, and the South Node barrel toward their 16/11 conjunction. The picture here is nursing a low-grade sinus headache while trying to fix a broken spreadsheet at work, right as your sibling rings you three times about a borrowed car and a coworker passive-aggressively CCs your manager on an email thread. Inbox full. Nerves fried. Schedule completely jammed. When the Scorpio New Moon hits on 09/11 and Mercury stations direct on 13/11 right at the apex of a square to Pluto, verbal friction hits a boiling point. Your instinct will be to use Scorpio’s scalpel to sever the tie on the spot. Hold your tongue while Mercury stands still; the square to Pluto never perfects, meaning the bottleneck in your schedule is loud, but it does not need to become a permanent crater.
If your daily routines are jammed and your wider social circle feels like another chore, thanks to fallen, retrograde Saturn sitting in your 11th house all month and making group obligations feel stiff, dry, and thankless, where do you actually go to breathe? Look to your 5th house of Libra, where Venus stations direct on 14/11. Libra is fellow air, and Venus in her own domicile is the one corner of the sky offering genuine, unforced grace. When alliance politics or needy friends in the 11th leave you feeling overextended, mute the group chat and pour your attention into a personal creative project, a romantic date, or time with a child. That 5th-house joy is not a frivolous distraction this month; it is the exact coolant keeping your engine from seizing up.
You only have to wait until 22/11 for the windows to finally fly open. As a mutable rising sign, the back half of November is where the action leaves the maintenance closets of your 3rd and 6th houses and steps out onto the main stage of your angles. First, the Sun enters Sagittarius and lights a warm, expansive fire in your 7th house of partnerships, trading the heavy Scorpio gridlock for an easy, generous trine to Jupiter. People become easier to talk to; partners and clients suddenly want to look at the big picture with you again. Then, on 24/11, the air crackles, the pressure drops, and… the Full Moon in Gemini lands squarely in your 1st house. Sudden clarity. Restless excitement. A hundred new tangents firing at once. After weeks of feeling buried under admin and bodily fatigue, your personal initiative wakes up, though with the Sun opposite in your 7th, you will need to balance your sudden itch for personal freedom against the commitments you have made to the person sitting across from you.
Then comes the anchor that locks it all into place: on 26/11, Mars leaves Leo and enters Virgo, your 4th house of home and family, just before Mercury clears their retrograde shadow on 30/11. Because Mercury rules Virgo, Mars is now working directly for you. Instead of burning up your nervous system in the 3rd house, Mars brings cool, dry, analytical earth down to your foundations, giving you the precision to tackle a domestic repair, draw a firm boundary with family, and get your private life in order before December begins.
Cancer
Key words
Vocational strain, domestic elasticity, cash-flow drain, workplace relief, logistical discipline
Key dates
09/11, 13/11, 14/11, 16/11, 22/11, 24/11, 26/11, 28/11, 30/11
Watch your bank account during the first two weeks of the month, and hold off on throwing money at a passion project or an expensive night out just to make yourself feel better. Work is likely to feel disorganised and demanding right now, with management or clients dropping the ball on basic boundaries. Lean on your home life and family to keep your spirits flexible, and wait until the last week of November to overhaul your daily schedule.
-
Because you are ruled by the Moon, your physical body acts like a barometer for every shift in the sky this month, travelling from a heavy fall in Scorpio down in your 5th house, up to solid, exalted ground in Taurus in your 11th, before going full and wild in Gemini across your 12th. Holding that barometer steady requires looking at the angular tug-of-war stretching between your 10th house of career and your 4th house of home all month long. Up at the top of your chart, Saturn sits retrograde and fallen in Aries, leaving your professional authority and workplace structures running on obstructed, parched heat. You might be dealing with a boss or an institution that has plenty of loud, fiery urgency but zero structural follow-through. Down at the base of your chart in the 4th house, Venus stations direct in Libra on 14/11. Libra is Sanguine air, which is hot and wet. Venus does not necessarily cool down the heat of your career, because Sanguine energy is still warm; what she actually does is pump vital moisture and circulation back into your private life. When dry heat takes over your job, everything gets stiff and brittle. By retreating to your living room, cooking a good meal, or leaning on family, Venus restores elasticity and lightness to your system so you can bend without breaking.
You will need that domestic flexibility during the first half of November, because your succedent houses of money and pleasure are locked in a vice. In your 2nd house of personal income and livelihood, Mars, Jupiter, and the South Node are bunched together in Leo. Leo is fire in the middle of summer, making it doubly hot and dry; as Mars barrels toward his conjunction with Jupiter and the South Node on 16/11, your cash flow is burning through fuel faster than you can replenish it. Worse, that parched 2nd house is squaring the Sun, retrograde Mercury, and the 09/11 New Moon in Scorpio over in your 5th house of children, romance, and creative ventures. Scorpio is autumn water, heavy and cold with a dry, defensive edge. What does it look like when a scorched 2nd house squares a swampy 5th house? It looks like trying to fund a creative project that has stalled out in self-doubt, or finding out your kid needs an expensive last-minute school trip right after an unexpected bill just drained your current account. When Mercury stations direct on 13/11, the temptation to snap over money or pull the plug on a creative passion out of sheer financial stress is fierce. Hold steady and let the 4th-house support from Venus on 14/11 remind you of what you actually have in the cupboard.
The pressure finally shifts into the cadent maintenance rooms of your chart on 22/11, when the Sun leaves the Scorpio swamp and enters Sagittarius, lighting up your 6th house of daily labour, coworkers, and physical health. Because the Sun now forms a generous fire trine with Jupiter in your 2nd house, the work you do every day starts connecting cleanly with your paycheque again, and tensions with colleagues begin to thaw. Then, on 24/11, the Moon reaches her fullness in Gemini right inside your 12th house of sleep, solitude, and unseen exhaustion. Leading up to that moment, the exalted Moon in Taurus had to march through a minefield of squares in your 11th house of friends, only to burst into the double-Sanguine, hot-and-wet air of Gemini. Brain buzzing at midnight. Old worries scattering like birds. A sudden, electric release of mental weight you did not even realise you were carrying.
To keep you from floating away on that restless 12th-house air, Mars steps out of Leo on 26/11 and enters Virgo, your 3rd house of local travel, siblings, and daily logistics. Virgo is summer earth, where dry soil meets residual heat, turning Mars into a sharp, methodical organiser. This puts firm, practical brakes on your daily calendar and how you speak to the people around you. Instead of bleeding money in the 2nd house, your energy goes straight into clearing your inbox, fixing local logistics, and drawing crisp boundaries in your daily conversations as the month closes out on 30/11.
Leo
Key words
Bodily exhaustion, domestic standoffs, local support systems, creative revival, budget discipline
Key dates
09/11, 10/11–16/11, 13/11, 14/11, 22/11, 24/11, 26/11, 28/11, 30/11
You are taking the early-November weather straight on the chin, and trying to power through household or family drama on sheer pride will only leave you flat on your back. Let your siblings, neighbours, or daily routines take some of the weight off your shoulders while your long-term plans are stalled. Once the final week of the month hits, your spark comes back in a massive way, though you will need to keep a tight grip on your debit card when friends start inviting you out to celebrate.
-
As a fixed fire sign born at the height of summer, you are naturally doubly Choleric: hot, dry, radiant, and built to run on high-octane vitality. During the first half of November, however, you have far too much of a good thing sitting right inside your 1st house of body, self, and physical will. Mars and Jupiter are marching toward their 16/11 conjunction right on your Ascendant alongside the South Node. Having Mars and Jupiter in your 1st house would normally make you feel unstoppable, yet the South Node is acting like a hole in the fuel line, draining the heat as fast as you generate it. Generating heat without a drop of moisture turns your physical energy into dry, abrasive friction. Meanwhile, your chart ruler, the Sun, is trapped down at the root of your chart in the 4th house of Scorpio alongside retrograde Mercury and the 09/11 New Moon. Scorpio is cold, wet autumn water with a sharp, melancholic edge; your solar ruler is effectively sitting in a dark, flooded cellar while your 1st house is burning up on the surface. Practically speaking, this feels like trying to show up to your life looking confident and put-together when you have not slept properly in four days because of a festering family argument, a lease dispute, or a literal leak spreading across the kitchen ceiling. When Mercury stations direct in that 4th house on 13/11, a domestic conversation gets dangerously close to a nuclear ultimatum, forcing you to bite your tongue before you burn down your own living room just to prove a point.
While your angles are locked in that loud standoff, the cadent glue holding your month together sits across your 9th and 3rd houses. Up in your 9th house of higher education, travel, and belief systems, Saturn is retrograde and fallen in Aries, making the big-picture future feel obstructed and blurry. You cannot rely on a grand five-year plan to save you right now. Instead, look to your 3rd house of Libra, where Venus stations direct on 14/11. Because Libra is Sanguine air, hot and wet, Venus brings much-needed moisture, warmth, and flexibility into your immediate environment. When your body feels parched and brittle in the 1st house and your home feels like a swamp in the 4th, a supportive sibling, a good chat with a neighbour, or the simple rhythm of your daily commute provides the lubrication that keeps your gears turning.
Everything changes for you on 22/11. Your ruler, the Sun, finally climbs out of the 4th-house basement and enters Sagittarius, your 5th house of joy, romance, play, and creative self-expression. Back in his own fiery triplicity and forming a warm mutual-reception trine with Jupiter in your 1st house, the Sun relights your pilot light. You actually recognise yourself in the mirror again. Two days later, on 24/11, the Gemini Full Moon lights up your 11th house of friendships, social networks, and future hopes with a rush of hot, moist Sanguine air. Group invites pour in, the social energy is electric, and you will want to be right in the middle of the room celebrating your return to life, until… you check your banking app on 26/11.
That is the day Mars finally leaves your 1st house, ending the physical burnout, and steps into Virgo, your 2nd house of money, resources, and personal spending. Moving into cold, dry Melancholic earth, Mars slams the brakes on your expenditure. After weeks of feeling wrung out, you deserve to enjoy the 5th-house warmth and the 28/11 Venus-Jupiter sextile, when a local ally or sibling comes through for you in a big way; just make sure you enjoy the party without picking up the tab for the entire table.

Do not let other people’s messy financial habits or a disorganised joint account stress you out this month; your own steady paycheque is your safest anchor. The first two weeks will feel like a series of irritating logistical delays and secret exhaustion, so give yourself grace if your brain feels unusually sharp-edged and tired. Hold off on signing major local contracts or having a blow-up with a relative mid-month, because by the final week of November, your home life settles down and you are back in the driver's seat.
-
Understanding why the first half of November feels so abrasive comes down to moisture, or rather, the complete lack of it. As an earth sign closing out the end of summer, Virgo is a combination of cold-and-dry earth and hot-and-dry summer weather. Your baseline temperament is overwhelmingly dry, which is what gives you your sharp eye for detail, your boundaries, and your ability to separate the wheat from the chaff. When the sky stacks even more dryness on top of you, however, that analytical precision turns into brittle, sleepless over-fixation. All month long, fallen and retrograde Saturn sits in your 8th house of shared debts, taxes, and partner finances, creating dry, failing boundaries around money you share with others. Meanwhile, Mars, Jupiter, and the South Node are locked in double-Choleric Leo inside your 12th house of sleep, solitude, and hidden strain. You have a roaring, parched furnace running behind the scenes of your life, burning through your subconscious reserves before you even get out of bed in the morning.
Where is that 12th-house exhaustion funnelling? Straight into your 3rd house of Scorpio, where the Sun, the 09/11 New Moon, and your chart ruler, Mercury, are all slogging through cold, marshy autumn water. Because Mars in your 12th house rules everything in Scorpio, your hidden burnout is spilling directly into your daily errands, short-term plans, and conversations with siblings or neighbours. Imagine lying awake at 4 a.m. mentally rehearsing an argument over a shared utility bill or a broken boundary with a relative, only to wake up exhausted and walk straight into a passive-aggressive text thread with that exact person. On 13/11, your ruler Mercury stations direct at the apex of a brutal square to Pluto while answering to that drained 12th-house Mars. You are one syllable away from delivering a surgical, devastating truth that permanently severs a local or familial tie, and then… you catch yourself. You put the phone face down on the counter. The very next day, on 14/11, Venus stations direct in Libra inside your 2nd house of personal livelihood. Her hot, wet Sanguine air cannot cool the room down, but it does bring vital moisture and financial liquidity into your own pocket. When joint finances in the 8th are a mess and your daily schedule in the 3rd is a swamp, your own hard-earned income and self-reliance give you the flexibility to walk away from a pointless fight.
The late-month handover is loud for all the mutable signs, pulling you out of those cramped 12th-and-3rd house maintenance corridors and onto the main angles of your chart. On 22/11, the Sun enters Sagittarius and lights a warm, steady fire in your 4th house of home, family, and private foundations. The domestic tension unfreezes, giving you a genuinely comfortable place to land. Two days later, on 24/11, the Gemini Full Moon illuminates your 10th house of career and public reputation with a burst of high-voltage air. A professional project or public role reaches a sudden, visible climax, standing your career duties directly against that newfound peace in your living room.
How do you keep a busy career peak from dragging you right back into burnout? On 26/11, Mars finally exits your 12th house and steps directly into Virgo, your 1st house. No more secret, behind-the-scenes draining. Mars is now in your sign, in cold, dry earth, and answering directly to your ruler, Mercury, who clears retrograde shadow on 30/11. Curiously, having Mars in your 1st house here does not mean charging around recklessly; it puts practical, disciplined brakes on how you spend your physical and mental stamina, letting your personal initiative take a measured, strategic seat while you sort out your priorities on your own terms.
Libra
Key words

If you are waiting for a partner or a client to hold up their end of the bargain this month, you are going to be waiting a long time; you have to be your own anchor right now. Be very careful with your budget during the first two weeks, especially when friends or networking groups try to rope you into expensive plans you cannot actually afford. Once the last week of November arrives, the administrative logjam in your inbox clears out, provided you actually switch your phone off at night and let yourself sleep.

Having your chart ruler, Venus, sitting right in your 1st house all month is a massive saving grace, especially once she stations direct in her home sign of Libra on 14/11. As a cardinal air sign opening the autumn season, you naturally balance the warm, wet Sanguine circulation of air with the crisp, structural dryness of autumn. Across the sky in your 7th house of partnerships and contracts, however, fallen and retrograde Saturn is stuck in Aries, generating a dry, obstructed Choleric heat that has zero staying power. A partner or counterparty may be acting defensive, immature, or completely incapable of maintaining healthy boundaries. Venus in your 1st house cannot cool that 7th-house heat down, because Sanguine air is still warm; what she does instead is pump moisture, grace, and flexibility straight into your own body and life direction. Moisture is what keeps things from snapping under pressure. Because you have that Sanguine suppleness in your 1st house, you can reclaim your personal autonomy and broker fair terms without letting someone else’s brittle behaviour harden you.
That personal poise gets put to the test between 10/11 and 16/11, when the pressure cooker in your succedent houses demands that Venus play peacemaker. Up in your 11th house of friends, social circles, and professional alliances, Mars, Jupiter, and the South Node are locked in doubly hot-and-dry Leo, burning through your social battery while squaring the Sun, retrograde Mercury, and the 09/11 New Moon down in your 2nd house of Scorpio. Scorpio is cold, wet autumn water with a sharp, melancholic edge of financial anxiety. What does an overheated 11th house squaring a swampy 2nd house look like in real life? It looks like being trapped in a group chat for a friend’s overly extravagant birthday dinner where everyone agrees to split the bill evenly, while you are sitting there staring at your banking app knowing a major invoice has not been paid yet. When Mercury stations direct in your 2nd house on 13/11, the urge to send a scorching message about money or sever ties with a demanding social circle hits a peak. Instead of blowing up the group, use Venus’s station on 14/11 to politely, firmly opt out and protect your wallet.
By 22/11, the tension shifts out of your bank account and releases into the cadent, liminal spaces of your chart as the Sun enters Sagittarius and lights up your 3rd house of daily logistics, short-term plans, and local conversations. Errands and discussions that were stuck in the mud suddenly start moving at a clip. Two days later, on 24/11, the Gemini Full Moon cracks open across your 9th house of long-term plans, higher education, travel, and publishing. That burst of double-Sanguine air pulls your eyes up from your immediate neighbourhood chores and reminds you of the wider horizon, standing your daily to-do list against where you actually want to be in a year's time.
Then, on 26/11, Mars leaves the exhausting social theatre of Leo and steps quietly into Virgo, your 12th house of rest, solitude, and unseen efforts. Bringing cold, dry Melancholic earth into your 12th house puts firm, practical brakes on your tendency to overextend yourself behind the scenes. You stop saying yes out of guilt. You close the door. You actually… rest. And on 28/11, when Venus perfects her second sextile to Jupiter, she is finally moving faster than he is, meaning a friend or ally from that 11th house comes back around to repay the favour and recognise the grace you showed earlier in the month.

Pushing yourself to the brink at work during the first half of the month will go straight to your physical body, so stop trying to prove you are indestructible. Your daily job routines are disorganised right now, making private downtime and proper rest non-negotiable. Protect your energy until the last week of November, when a financial bottleneck finally clears and you can draw some much-needed boundaries with demanding friends or professional groups.
-
For the first two weeks of November, your chart is experiencing the astrological equivalent of thermal shock. Right in your 1st house of identity, physical vitality, and bodily presence sit the Sun, retrograde Mercury, and the 09/11 New Moon in Scorpio. As a fixed water sign in the middle of autumn, Scorpio combines cold-and-wet water with cold-and-dry autumn weather, making it doubly cold. Meanwhile, up at the very top of your chart in the 10th house of career, reputation, and public authority, your traditional ruler Mars is locked in doubly hot-and-dry Leo alongside Jupiter and the South Node. What happens when you pour boiling, parched 10th-house heat onto frozen, defensive 1st-house glass? You get hairline fractures. Leading up to the 16/11 Mars-Jupiter conjunction on the South Node, your career is demanding every ounce of your willpower while actively draining your tank. At the exact same time, the cold, marshy water in your 1st house leaves you feeling physically heavy, guarded, and hyper-aware of every flaw in the room. When Mercury stations direct in your 1st house on 13/11 right at the apex of a square to Pluto in your 4th, the words sitting on the tip of your tongue are pure venom. Imagine sitting in a performance review or a high-stakes client meeting while running on four hours of sleep, listening to a superior take credit for your work, and feeling the exact sentence that would end your employment rising in your throat. Swallow it and let Mercury stall out; burning your reputation down on 13/11 will only hurt you.
Why is your physical stamina taking such a beating from this career pressure? Look at the cadent glue in your 6th and 12th houses. All month long, fallen and retrograde Saturn sits in your 6th house of daily labour, chores, and acute health, and because Saturn is ruled by that drained Mars in your 10th, your everyday workplace boundaries and physical routines are buckling under the weight of your job. You cannot fix this by working harder. Your relief sits hidden in your 12th house of Libra, where Venus stations direct on 14/11. Her warm, wet Sanguine air operates behind closed doors, bringing moisture and softness back into your life when you step away from the public eye, close your bedroom door, and allow yourself complete solitude to recuperate.
Once the Sun steps out of your 1st house and enters Sagittarius on 22/11, the vice around your chest loosens and the energy moves into your succedent houses of money and resources. Lighting a clean diurnal fire in your 2nd house of personal income and livelihood, the Sun forms a supportive trine to Jupiter in your 10th, meaning the brutal career effort you put in earlier this month finally starts translating into tangible earning potential or professional backing. Then, on 24/11, the Gemini Full Moon illuminates your 8th house of shared debts, taxes, and partner finances with a sudden jolt of volatile air, bringing a joint financial matter or an emotional obligation to a decisive head against your newfound 2nd-house stability.
The best news of your entire month arrives on 26/11, when your ruler Mars finally vacates that exhausting 10th-house furnace and enters Virgo, your 11th house of friends, peer groups, and future hopes. Cooling down into dry, analytical Melancholic earth, Mars stops bleeding willpower and hands you a pair of pruning shears. Between 26/11 and Mercury clearing shadow in your 1st house on 30/11, you have the exact clarity required to put firm, practical brakes on demanding friend groups or professional committees, trimming away the social deadweight so your time is actually yours again.

Do not panic if you spend the first two weeks of November feeling completely uninspired and questioning your long-term path; your battery is just flat, not broken. When your hobbies stop feeling fun and your brain is tired, let your friends take you out and remind you who you are. Everything flips in your favour on 22/11 when your energy comes roaring back, leaving you ready to handle a major relationship milestone and tighten up your professional goals at the end of the month.
-
To understand why the start of November feels so strangely heavy for you, look at what is happening to your chart ruler, Jupiter, over in the cadent spaces of your chart. As a fire sign at the very end of autumn, Sagittarius combines hot-and-dry fire with cold-and-dry autumn weather, making your baseline temperament doubly dry. You thrive on movement, wide horizons, and philosophical heat, but without enough moisture, you can easily dry out into restlessness and burnout. Right now, Jupiter is trapped in your 9th house of Leo alongside Mars and the South Node, building toward their exact conjunction on 16/11. Leo is summer fire, which is also doubly hot and dry; with Mars sawing Jupiter down and the South Node draining the tank, your 9th house of beliefs, higher education, legal matters, and long-term vision is completely parched. Worse, that scorched 9th house is locked in a square with the Sun, retrograde Mercury, and the 09/11 New Moon in Scorpio, pooling cold, stagnant water in your 12th house of sleep, isolation, and mental undoing. It is the specific exhaustion of staring at a university dissertation, a visa application, or a long-term business plan at 2 a.m., feeling completely disillusioned with the whole thing while a quiet voice in the back of your head tells you to just pack it all in. When Mercury stations direct in that 12th house on 13/11, do not listen to the late-night spiral.
Where does the moisture come from when your faith is parched in the 9th and your creative spark is stalled out by fallen, retrograde Saturn sitting in your 5th house all month? It comes from your 11th house of Libra, where Venus stations direct on 14/11. Libra’s Sanguine air is hot and wet, and because Venus is sending supportive sextiles over to Jupiter and Mars in Leo, your friends, community networks, and allies act like a humidifier in a bone-dry room. When trying to force a creative project or a personal hobby in the 5th feels like squeezing water from a stone, lean on your social circle. Let a good friend talk you off the ledge and remind you of what you actually stand for.
Then, on 22/11, the rescue arrives right on your doorstep. The Sun leaves the murky 12th-house basement and steps directly into Sagittarius, lighting up your 1st house of identity, vitality, and personal agency. Immediately, the Sun enters a warm, diurnal mutual-reception trine with your ruler Jupiter in the 9th. The lights come back on. Your confidence returns. The existential dread evaporates. Just two days later, on 24/11, the Gemini Full Moon cracks across your 7th house of partnerships and contracts with a rush of volatile, electric air. With the Sun in your 1st and the Moon in your 7th, a major one-on-one dynamic reaches a loud, undeniable turning point, asking how your newly restored personal momentum fits alongside a partner’s needs.
To make sure all that returning fire and electric air actually builds something concrete, Mars steps out of Leo on 26/11 and enters Virgo, your 10th house of career and public standing. Cold, dry Melancholic earth at the top of your chart puts practical, disciplined brakes on your professional actions. Rather than scattering your second wind across twenty different ambitions, Mars in Virgo gives you the surgical focus to execute your career tasks one step at a time, right as Venus perfects her sextile to your ruler Jupiter on 28/11 and rewards you with an open door from a friend or patron.

Your home life or family dynamics are likely to feel disorganised and testing all month, making your career and professional goals the one place where things actually make sense. Keep your wallet closed when friends or professional groups start talking about joint investments or splitting heavy expenses during the first two weeks. Once the final week of November lands, a massive weight lifts off your sleep and mental health, letting you lock in solid plans for travel, study, or legal paperwork.

Saturn rules your chart, and right now he is having a rough time down at the very root of it. As an earth sign born at the start of winter, Capricorn combines cold-and-dry earth with cold-and-wet winter weather, making your baseline temperament doubly cold. You are built for endurance, structural gravity, and cool-headed containment. All month long, however, Saturn is sitting retrograde and fallen in Aries inside your 4th house of home, family, and foundations. Putting cold, dry Saturn into hot, impulsive Aries creates dry, brittle cracks in your living room walls; boundaries with family members fail, domestic rules feel impossible to enforce, and you are left answering to an exhausted Mars over in your 8th house. Where do you find the elasticity to keep from snapping when your private life feels so brittle? Look up to your 10th house of career and public reputation, where Venus stations direct in her home sign of Libra on 14/11. Because Libra is Sanguine air, which is hot and wet, Venus pumps vital moisture, warmth, and social grace into your professional standing. Throwing yourself into your work or leaning on the goodwill you have built in your career gives you a flexible, supportive refuge when your domestic foundation is wobbling.
That professional buffer is crucial during the first half of the month, when the fixed standoff locks into your succedent houses of shared debts and social networks. In your 8th house of joint finances, taxes, and partner assets, Mars, Jupiter, and the South Node are trapped in doubly hot-and-dry Leo, burning through shared resources as they march toward their 16/11 conjunction. Worse, Saturn in your 4th house is trying to send a whole-sign trine to that 8th-house fire, like an exhausted parent offering sensible financial advice from across the room only to be brushed off as out of touch. Meanwhile, that parched 8th house is squaring the Sun, retrograde Mercury, and the 09/11 New Moon in Scorpio over in your 11th house of friends and alliances. Imagine trying to chase down a friend who still owes you hundreds of pounds from a group holiday, right on the exact week your mortgage rate jumps or your partner’s tax bill lands on the doormat. When Mercury stations direct in your 11th house on 13/11 at the apex of a square to Pluto in your 1st, you get right to the edge of sending a bridge-burning message that blows up the friendship for good, and then… you hold back. You let the silence do the talking and wait for cooler heads to prevail.
The pressure valve finally opens in the cadent back rooms of your chart on 22/11, when the Sun leaves Scorpio and enters Sagittarius, lighting up your 12th house of sleep, solitude, and subconscious burdens. That heavy, unspoken mental exhaustion you have been carrying in secret suddenly catches a warm updraft. Two days later, on 24/11, the Gemini Full Moon cracks across your 6th house of daily labour, chores, and health routines with a burst of restless, hot-and-wet air, releasing a bottleneck at work and showing you clearly where your daily grind has been costing you your rest.
Then comes the structural seal you have been waiting for all month. On 26/11, Mars finally exits your 8th house of debt and steps into Virgo, bringing cold, dry Melancholic earth into your 9th house of higher education, legal matters, publishing, and long-distance travel. That familiar earthy dryness puts practical brakes on vague, over-optimistic long-term plans and replaces them with sharp, methodical paperwork. Finally, on 30/11, the Sun in Sagittarius perfects a clean trine to your ruler Saturn in the 4th house. For the first time all month, the Sun can actually see Saturn, handing you the authority and clarity to patch up those domestic boundaries for the long haul.

The first half of November is loud, pulling you into a direct tug-of-war between a demanding partner or client and your responsibilities at work. When your daily schedule and local errands start falling apart at the seams, step back and seek advice from a teacher, a mentor, or someone outside your immediate bubble. Hold the line until the last week of the month, when your social life and creative energy open back up and you can finally get a firm grip on shared expenses.

As a fixed air sign in the middle of winter, your natural temperament is a fascinating study in moisture: you combine hot-and-wet Sanguine air with cold-and-wet Phlegmatic winter weather, making you doubly wet by constitution. Moisture in astrology is what binds things together, circulates ideas, and allows you to connect across massive social networks. During the first two weeks of November, however, the sky is blasting your angular houses with extreme temperatures that threaten to boil that moisture right out of your relationships. Directly across from you in your 7th house of partnerships, contracts, and open counterparties, Mars, Jupiter, and the South Node are locked in doubly hot-and-dry Leo. Leading up to their 16/11 conjunction, a partner or client is running on parched, exhausted Choleric heat, demanding attention while their own reserves bleed out. Simultaneously, up in your 10th house of career and public reputation, the Sun, retrograde Mercury, and the 09/11 New Moon are pooling in cold, marshy Scorpio. With Pluto sitting right in your 1st house in Aquarius, you are caught in the crossfire of a fixed standoff. It feels like trying to salvage a high-stakes project at work where your boss is being secretive and defensive, while at the exact same time your spouse or business partner is standing in the doorway picking a fight because they feel neglected. When Mercury stations direct in your 10th house on 13/11 squaring Pluto in your 1st, the urge to drop a nuclear ultimatum on your career or your relationship is immense. Do not light the match; the square never perfects, and the storm will pass if you refuse to feed it.
Why does it feel so hard to just communicate your way out of this corner? Look at the cadent glue of your 3rd and 9th houses, where your chart ruler Saturn is operating all month. Saturn sits retrograde and fallen in Aries inside your 3rd house of daily routines, short-term logistics, neighbours, and siblings. Because Saturn is answered by that drained Mars in your 7th, your everyday communication and immediate schedule are suffering from dry, broken boundaries. Trying to brute-force a daily logistical problem right now only creates more friction. Instead, look across the axis to your 9th house of Libra, where Venus stations direct on 14/11. Libra is fellow air, hot and wet, and Venus in her own domicile restores the moisture and perspective your 3rd house is missing. Stepping back into higher study, legal counsel, or advice from a trusted teacher gives you the breathing room to navigate the daily static.
Once 22/11 arrives, the pressure lifts off your angles and releases into your succedent houses. The Sun steps out of your 10th house and enters Sagittarius, lighting a warm, cooperative fire in your 11th house of friends, community alliances, and future hopes. Suddenly, your wider network is on your side again. Two days later, on 24/11, the Gemini Full Moon electrifies your 5th house of romance, children, and creative expression with a rush of doubly Sanguine spring air. Play returns. Creative projects crackle with life. You remember what it feels like to actually enjoy yourself, standing your personal joy against the demands of your wider community.
To make sure the month ends on solid ground, Mars finally leaves your 7th house on 26/11, ending the partnership war, and enters Virgo, your 8th house of shared debts, taxes, and joint liabilities. Moving into cold, dry Melancholic earth, Mars clamps firm, analytical brakes onto shared financial leaks and bad debt habits. By 30/11, when the Sun in your 11th house perfects his trine to your ruler Saturn in the 3rd, an ally or community connection helps you lock down your daily schedule with boundaries that actually hold.

Do not let a chaotic workplace or a disorganised daily schedule talk you into abandoning your long-term goals during the first half of the month. If your personal cash flow feels tight or poorly bounded right now, lean on shared resources, a partner’s income, or an outside settlement to bridge the gap. Hang tight until the final week of November, when your career catches a massive updraft, a domestic matter reaches a clear resolution, and you can sit down to sort out the fine print of your relationships.

As a water sign closing out the end of winter, Pisces combines cold-and-wet water with cold-and-wet winter weather, making your baseline temperament doubly Phlegmatic. You require coolness, moisture, and emotional flow to stay healthy and intuitive. Why do the first two weeks of November feel so physically and mentally abrasive for you? Because your chart ruler, Jupiter, is trapped in your 6th house of daily labour, coworkers, and physical health inside the sign of Leo. Leo is fire in the middle of summer, doubly hot and dry. Dropping a Phlegmatic ruler into a parched, roaring 6th-house furnace alongside Mars and the South Node, peaking on 16/11, boils your moisture right out of the pan. In the 6th house, that severe dryness shows up as workplace burnout, inflammatory flare-ups, and thankless daily chores that saw down your optimism. At the same time, that overheated 6th house is locked in a square with the Sun, retrograde Mercury, and the 09/11 New Moon in Scorpio over in your 9th house of higher education, travel, legalities, and core beliefs. It is the specific misery of being stuck at work covering for two absent colleagues while nursing a sore throat, right as you get an email saying your visa paperwork, university module, or travel booking has hit a bureaucratic wall. When Mercury stations direct in your 9th house on 13/11, resist the urge to fire off a scathing email to an administrator or quit a course out of sheer physical exhaustion.
While those cadent maintenance houses are grinding away in the first half of the month, an ongoing financial balancing act runs across your succedent 2nd and 8th houses all month long. In your 2nd house of personal income, fallen and retrograde Saturn in Aries is creating dry, leaky boundaries around your day-to-day cash flow. Your safety net sits across the axis in your 8th house of shared resources, partner finances, and outside backing, where Venus stations direct in her home sign of Libra on 14/11. Her warm, wet Sanguine air brings vital moisture and financial flexibility through other people’s money; if your own budget is stretched thin, let a partner’s resources, a grant, or a restructured payment plan carry part of the load.
Wait for 22/11, because that is when the late-month handover pulls the energy out of the back rooms and throws the doors of your angular houses wide open. The Sun steps out of Scorpio and enters Sagittarius at the very top of your chart, lighting a clean diurnal fire in your 10th house of career, reputation, and public standing. Immediately, the Sun catches your ruler Jupiter in a warm mutual-reception trine between your 10th and 6th houses. All that gruelling, unglamorous work you did in the trenches earlier in the month is suddenly noticed by the people at the top, and your professional trajectory catches fire. Two days later, on 24/11, the Gemini Full Moon illuminates your 4th house of home, family, and private roots with a sudden jolt of electric air, bringing a domestic matter or living situation to a clear culmination right as your career takes off.
Then, on 26/11, Mars finally vacates your 6th house, taking his foot off the neck of your health and daily workload, and steps into Virgo, your 7th house of partnerships, clients, and contracts. Moving into cold, dry Melancholic earth, Mars puts firm, practical brakes on your one-on-one commitments. Instead of letting relationship boundaries blur, Mars in Virgo hands you a red pen and asks for meticulous, analytical sorting in your agreements, right before Venus perfects her sextile to your ruler Jupiter on 28/11 and delivers a well-earned financial or collaborative gift.

III. Full Overview: November
A. Aphrodite puts down her Knives for her Scales Again
(24/10 – 04/11)
October ended on an uncomfortably loud note. Leading up to the start of November, on 24/10, the Venus Cazimi took place. Entering the heart of the Sun in Scorpio, Venus had the spotlight and clarity shone directly onto her retrograde cycle, illuminating the cold trail she left behind for Mercury’s retrograde cycle in Scorpio. The following day on 25/10, Venus stepped back outside from her detriment in cold and thorny Scorpio for some fresh air in her temperate home in Libra. We cleared the Full Moon on 26/10, ruled by Venus herself, right as Mercury just perfected another square with Pluto. The focus on our relationships has been relentless to say the least. Expect a lot of revelations, but also deliberate shedding of old patterns to make room for new growth. The atmosphere is exposed, illuminated, and undeniably bright. Brightness, however, does not always mean warmth.
“Stepping into November comes with bright fluorescent surgical lights on max. Clinical, gruesome, honest, but eventually, healing. ”
November begins in the wake of that relational friction. Sitting in the waiting room not knowing whether what you built is going to survive the operation reflects the exact pressure in the sky. Communication broken. Agreements cracked. That breakdown, however, creates room to see what can actually last.
When planets go retrograde, we shouldn’t hide or be scared; they simply expose where the seams are ripping and tearing. What was standard practice six months ago might be completely unsustainable today. You might not agree on everything. But, really, who does? Structures sometimes have to buckle under pressure so you can see whether they possess the spine to stand the test of time. After that initial friction, early November offers a softer landing. On 04/11, we meet a supportive sextile between Venus and Jupiter. As the traditional benefics, these are the planets tasked with opening doors and offering resources. The “yes”-sayers. A sextile is an invitation rather than a guaranteed windfall. The gift is extended, but you still have to unwrap the box, try on the sweater, and decide whether it actually fits or if you need to ask for the receipt. Depending on your Ascendant, this opportunity looks different. For a Leo Ascendant it could be a sibling, childhood friend, or neighbour helping you out. Or if you have a Capricorn Ascendant, it could look like your boss offering you a bonus that helps towards paying a debt.
B. Ares Sows a Seed in Rotting Soil
(05/11 – 09/11)
After that soft cushion into the month, we see the next week starting to clear out some debris from the previous months to then allow for the transition into the next year. On November 5th, Mars enters his pre-retrograde shadow. What that means in practice is that you should pay attention to the themes and events that take place between 05/11/2026 and 10/01/2027, as these occurrences will echo and return once Mars stations retrograde in early January. The nature of a Mars retrograde period is that of shedding, relearning one’s ability to be decisive, but also how to pick your battles strategically; in whatever part of your life Mars touches. Whenever a planet spends time being retrograde we are faced with events that may force us to redo and rethink things that are related to the planet moving back. In this case it is Mars. The planet of protection, aggression, conflict, justice and injustice, authenticity, and active action. Mars will begin his retrograde in Virgo and then move back into Leo, which means that these two sectors of your life will be connected so it is important to look at where it takes place in your own chart. Because this Mars retrograde story stretches from early November all the way into the spring of 2027, a single monthly horoscope only gives you the opening chapter. If you want to map out how Mars’s retrograde through Virgo and Leo will interact with your specific natal planets and personal timing periods over the coming months, this is an ideal time to book a personal forecast reading with me.
What could Mars Rx mean in your life?
It would mean that you have to rethink and redo how you approach conflict and elements in your life that set you apart from others. You will most likely be asked to return to things that you have been putting off. This transit predominantly takes place across Leo III and Virgo I. This brings in the imagery of the Tarot cards 7 of Wands and 8 of Pentacles, speaking to the themes of reiterating how you show up for yourself and how you stand your ground when your skills are being challenged. The lesson here is to learn how to hone the martian ability to work hard and to protect your stance and station. You have worked hard to get where you are but don’t let your pride get the best of you even though you know what your skills are.
On the following Monday, 09/11, we encounter the month’s first lunation, a New Moon in Scorpio. The Moon does not enjoy being in Scorpio, where she finds her traditional fall. The Moon wants to be able to move through her ebbs and flows without feeling weighted down by emotional baggage. In Scorpio, the Moon forces us to sit with the compost and actually confront what we would rather look away from; actually confront what we don’t want to look at or see. And because it is a New Moon, we are confronted with what is no longer healthy to keep to then be able to start a new cycle for the coming month.
“Is there anything that you feel has been overstaying its welcome but you have struggled to let go of?”
The Full Moon that happened at the end of October took place in the 12th part of Gemini but this lunation will take place in the 12th part of Taurus. What this means is that these parts of your chart will be activated for the period of the lunation. Let’s say you have your Ascendant in Pisces, that means that the New Moon would take place in your 9th house but the 12th part would take place in your 3rd house. So, by blending the significations of these two places in your chart, you can get a sense of what that looks like for you. In this instance, for our Pisces Ascendant individual, this could be dealing with a legal matter involving your siblings that has been festering, or perhaps there has been some sort of conflict with your neighbour about politics that reached a tipping point recently. For some people it is about cutting things out to allow for other things to grow. Scorpio tells us that we need to cut and throw away the things that are rotting, the 12P tells us that it’s because seeds can’t reach the soil if it’s covered in too much debris. Because the New Moon is ruled by Mars in Leo, your Leo house adds an extra layer, revealing where the initial spark for this clean-up originated. Going back to our Pisces Asc individual, this would stem from the 6th house of work, routines, and health, so it could come from a conflict at work or a health issue that you have been dealing with that has inflamed a sibling relationship contributing to some belief or religious disputes that need to be acknowledged. Blending whole-sign houses with 12th-parts and dispositor trees is where astrology stops speaking in generalities and starts describing your actual life. If you want to look beneath the surface of your chart and see how these finer technical layers are wired into your natal placements, you can book a foundational natal reading with me.
C. Aphrodite Extends an Olive Branch to an Exhausted Ares & Zeus
(10/11 – 16/11)
Following that cleansing lunation, on 10/11, we move onto a few resolutions. Venus and Mars form a supporting sextile; this can show up as a sort of olive branch where someone may extend an opportunity for resolving a conflict. But the thing about sextiles is that they show opportunities that still require you to take a step towards that resolution. This sextile is asking you to put in the effort to make it happen, you might be handed a gift but you still need to accept it and utilise it.
The sextile is shortly followed by the almost simultaneous direct stations of both Mercury on 13/11 and Venus on 14/11. At this moment Venus is back in Libra and Mercury is in early Scorpio. We have a rather mixed bag at this point with a triple conjunction between the South Node, Jupiter, and Mars while also receiving a sextile from stationary Venus. On 16/11, Mars perfects his conjunction with Jupiter and the South Node while receiving a sextile from stationary Venus. The following breakdown maps out the moving parts before we look at what this tension looks like in practice:
| Header 1 | Individual | +Jupiter | +Mars | +Venus (sextile) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| South Node | Detachment Decrease Draining Subtraction Renunciation of material craving |
A decrease in expansiveness Draining peace Subtracting faith Renunciation of the teacher Draining warmth |

This is for anyone who would like to understand the technical process of the delineations below.
The South Node passes over Jupiter first before passing over Mars. Two days before Mars perfects his conjunction with Jupiter, Venus stations direct and does not start advancing until the South Node has cleared Mars and Jupiter and they perfect their conjunction. Up until that conjunction, Venus has been slower than Jupiter and more dignified, meaning Venus benefits more from the sextile. While Jupiter has to navigate both Mars and the South Node, he continues to supply resources to Venus. In practical terms, this looks like someone attempting to teach forgiveness when the integrity of their own belief is failing. It can also look like someone trying to nurture love while ongoing conflict actively drains faith in an amicable resolution.
Venus is stationary and domiciled in Libra, but her exaltation ruler, Saturn, is retrograde and fallen in Aries. This shows that the boundaries required to maintain peace have been failing. To compensate for a compromised structure, someone steps back to preserve balance and avoid further inflammation. Because Saturn is ruled by that very same Mars, the draining of Martian integrity makes upholding personal boundaries even more difficult, creating a temptation to burn structures down and start anew.
Simultaneously, the Sun in Scorpio and Mars in Leo are locked in mutual reception, directly tying this tension to where we consciously direct our focus. The Sun speaks to authenticity, visibility, and vitality. Both the Sun and Mars are hot and dry, sharing an affinity of temperament, but Mars belongs to the night sect and operates far more constructively when cooled down. The Sun entering the equation adds dry heat, yet Mars's own heat is not being cooled; it is being drained by the South Node. Consequently, the solar warmth required for genuine authenticity is siphoned away. Wherever the Sun is transiting marks where we seek recognition, yet that recognition is currently heavily compromised. In reality, the Sun marks the central pain point of this struggle.
The Sun disposes Jupiter and the South Node, but because the Sun is received by Mars, solar resources are funnelled to Jupiter and the Node through Mars first. Furthermore, the Sun is the exaltation ruler of Saturn in Aries, but the two signs sit in aversion while both are ruled by Mars in Leo. This dynamic filters our conscious desire for authenticity through an exhausting conflict and a decrease in separation. The Sun attempts to raise standards and rebuild boundaries but remains blind to them. Unable to see clearly how to enforce those standards constructively, we end up relying entirely on Mars to either make a clean cut or quietly take a step back.
What would this look like practically speaking?
It tells me that there is a lot of attention on a conflict that doesn’t seem to lead anywhere. We have these strong desires for integrity and authenticity, but our boundaries seem to be failing us at the same time. There appears to be a clear sequence before we hit a wall: we feel the happiness and desire for peace being drained out of the room, together with the warmth we require to rise to the occasion where it matters. A conflict or desire for a clean break builds until we are hit with the drain of integrity needed to stay true to that desire.
Consider a battlefield surgeon who has lost faith in themselves to the point that they forget to swap to a new, sharper scalpel. Mars’ preferred domain is the nocturnal sign, Scorpio. When the Sun transits Scorpio, we are forced to face what can no longer be kept without poisoning ourselves in the process. Can you hold on to the toxicity while also remaining authentic? The Scorpio placement shows where you want to stay true to yourself but struggle to believe in yourself enough to do so, held back by the past you are clinging to as the Sun moves through the sign.
Meanwhile, Saturn finds his fall in Aries. A fallen Saturn speaks to where we cannot simply skip to having structure and boundaries. Libra, while ruled by Venus and aiming for peace, hosts Saturn’s exaltation. It tells us that peace cannot exist without the dry, cold conversations about boundaries and balance in relationships. The Aries part of your chart therefore reveals where your boundaries and structures fail when attempting to raise peace and love to a higher standard. There is an overwhelming desire to reach peace and stay connected, yet we reach a point where we desperately want to cut off dead weight, but all we have is that dull knife.
Mars represents excess heat and everything sharp; through his rulership of Scorpio, he is tasked with purifying whatever is toxic in our system. On a battlefield, when cut, you must disinfect and cauterise the wound to prevent infection and close it. But what happens when you try lighting a fire with rusty steel to disinfect a dull knife riddled with toxins? You focus so heavily on lighting the fire that you forget you are bleeding out. Because Venus has just stationed direct in her home sign, Libra, we are called to consider outside support from an objective third party, express our issue clearly, and accept the provided perspective. With Saturn in Aries thrown into the mix, the third party could be someone who understands the dilemma more on a personal level themselves but is able to remain separated themselves.
This configuration shows heat being drained because someone left the door wide open while the heating runs on maximum. Don’t try to force the door shut alone. It is okay to ask for help to close it. When your energy feels so spent that you physically have nothing left to give, choose to nurture connections with decisive integrity, even if it feels scarce.
The bottom line is that right now, clean breaks cannot be made cleanly. They risk turning ugly and causing long-term harm, nor will goodwill alone suffice. You must lend that energy back to Venus, who stands firm and empowered in her home sign of Libra, and recognise where your boundaries are falling short despite Saturn’s fall. This isn't about forcing compliance, but about being honest, fair, and gracefully accepting reality to move forward in honour of both parties. Where imbalances exist in relationships, lean on Venus in Libra, represented by the scales that demand objective balance. Venus in Libra paired with Saturn in Aries reminds us that despite past events, enforcing personal boundaries is essential, but impossible without expressing them in a cool-tempered, constructive way. Look the other person in the eye as an adult and an equal. It may hurt initially, but eventually the wound will heal, revealing what integrity truly means to you.
“What is a boundary you have allowed to deteriorate in recent times?”
D. Hermes stations direct into a conflict with Hades
(13/11 – 14/11)
Up until now, with all this talk about unity, seeing each other eye-to-eye, treating each other like an equal, and having a true discussion, we cannot neglect that Mercury stations direct, followed by Venus’s station. Mercury is the planet of communication, trade, information, and agreements. If Venus shows the agreement, Mercury shows how it is worded. Mercury stations direct into a square with Pluto, the god of the underworld, destruction, making small things big, and big things small. With Mercury in Scorpio, a Mars-ruled, nocturnal sign, we see a desire to sever things with our words. With Pluto thrown into the mix the conversation turns nuclear. Mercury speaks the words of fission while Venus asks us to responsibly choose fusion. But can they see each other? No, they are in adjacent signs; Venus can see Pluto, however. The triple conjunction between Mars, the SN, and Jupiter can see Pluto and Mercury too. While this might not be a tight degree-based T-square, we see the tension via sign still. The Mars triple conjunction is screaming for heat while Pluto on the opposite end wants to drop the heavy structural integrity failings on the table, leaving Mercury at the apex of this opposition getting disposed by that drained Mars, so close to saying the infectious, sever-prone ultimatum, but… stops. Decides it’s not worth it. Decides it’s better to move on. Decides it’s better to stop while you can.
Saturn in Aries rules said Pluto in Aquarius, telling us that at the root of the blow-up would be the disintegration of boundaries and healthy structures.
“During this time, we must make sure to not sever things too hastily as they might inadvertently blow up in our faces.”
Is there a silver-lining to this? Well, Mercury never perfects the square with Pluto, so it is a sense of getting so close to saying the toxic thing, but stopping yourself and moving on. At the very least, employ that restraint. Mercury will stand still for a while, meaning that the talk you feel the need to have will stall for a while before moving forward.
Venus still makes the sextile to the planets in Leo and the sign-based trine to Pluto. Our words might be toxic, but our desire for peace needs to come before the intensity of saying the severing truth. The truth can hurt, but it doesn’t need to leave a toxic wasteland.
“Don’t be the reason there is a crater in your life that can’t heal.”
E. Apollo Rekindles Zeus’s Hearth
(18/11 – 22/11)
As we move on to the second half of the month, we encounter a sharp turn as the Sun enters Sagittarius. We move from a squaring, harsh configuration where there is tense reception from the Sun in Scorpio to the Leo planets, to an easier, more flowing configuration of a trine from Sun in Sagittarius to the Leo planets. This is almost like an emotional whiplash, but in a better way than before. The Sun moves from a mutual reception with Mars in Leo to a mutual reception with Jupiter in Leo; imagine surviving a gruelling, boundary-setting debate, and then heading straight out to meet good friends. The focus shifts from the intense drive to be authentic and to hold on to integrity in a conflict to being authentic and holding integrity in your beliefs and how you show up in the world.
With so much fixed energy in the sky with the only support being newly stationed Venus in cardinal Libra, a bit of mutable fire is welcomed. That’s a lot of astrological terminology in a row. What this means more concretely is that you probably experience a “sunshine after the storm” phenomenon. All those fixed planets (Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius), while showing great staying power, do speak to how things are stagnant and immovable. A lot of forces refuse to budge, pulling you in several different directions at once. With the only functional, supportive planet sitting in a movable sign, Libra, we are finally able to start fresh conversations, craft new agreements, and open genuine discussions. Saturn in Aries, another movable sign, forms a whole-sign trine to the Leo sector, but is fallen and retrograde. Because of this, there is support from the Aries sector but coming from a burnt out friend or companion with a lot of wisdom, but not taken seriously due to them possibly appearing too young, too immature, or too inexperienced to know, despite still providing support from a further distance.
Once the Sun enters Sagittarius, a candle is lit, a flicker of potential to hope. Not forceful, but agentic, optimistic, holding faith. Sagittarius is a double-bodied sign, capable of expanding one’s perspectives and of helping us transition out of fixity towards wider horizons. The Sun gains triplicity dignity in the fire signs and there is something interesting that occurs where the Sun remains in a mutual reception but instead of it being between the Sun and Mars it is now between the Sun and Jupiter. This is a massive shift from one’s will and aggression being intertwined and now we see an easier flow between one’s will and faith. The Sun and Jupiter are both of the day sect. They are friends and they agree with each other more. This could come through a friend or one’s community coming in to support and remind you of what you believe in. This speaks to a time to reconnect with like-minded people. Jupiter remains in Leo, representing our beliefs, network, and peace, which means that they remain fixed from before. But with the Sun in a more agile sign, we feel a sense of weight lifted and we begin gaining the ability to move out of that purification process. Our beliefs might not have changed, but they are now coupled with a greater ability to move away from the heavy conflicts from days earlier. This shift supports the willpower we felt was compromised before, and the crumbling boundaries we have been experiencing.
F. Apollo Shoots his Sparking Arrow into Artemis’ Electric Sky
(24/11 – 30/11)
The final week of November opens with a Full Moon in Gemini, whose next aspect will be to Uranus. This could either be a rather volatile or a rather exciting Full Moon. The Moon governs the night and is instinctual, bodily, and she moves through the whole zodiac in roughly a month, just under 27 days and 8 hours to be exact. In roughly a month, she is able to communicate to every single planet, and her being so close to Earth, she is able to transmit the light of all other planets as she travels the zodiac. Leading up to the Full Moon, she had just formed an opposition to Mercury; a square to the SN, then Jupiter, then Mars; then a sextile to Neptune, all before going full. That is a lot of cleaning up and stabilising the exalted Moon had to go through before going full in Gemini, where she is peregrine and runs a bit wild. What this means is that amidst the wounding, the loss of belief, the drain we have been experiencing in Leo, the Moon comes in and provides us with some grounding and puts the brakes on the madness. Taurus is a stable, nurturing, and calm sign. The Moon feels grounded and like she can move through the heaviness with a stable ground under her feet. Then before we know it, a sudden surge of electricity, an airborne change, the air lightens and all of a sudden we… look up again. Think of early fireworks. Explosive, sudden, celebratory, a rocket launches into the sky, explodes, and scatters into 1,000,001 colours in the air.
Looking at the imagery of what is going on, the Sun in Sagittarius, a fire sign and the archer, shining his light onto the Moon in Gemini, an air sign representing multiplicity and scatteredness, supports that feeling of a beautiful explosion.
There is a degree-based double configuration at this point involving a reignition of the Barbault’s basket degrees during the Gemini Full Moon connecting Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto into the mix, while simultaneously forming a degree-based T-square with Mars. Barbault’s basket and the T-square speak to how the world keeps on moving on; sometimes we just have to put conflicts on hold, step outside, and look out into the world for a bit.
The month ends softly on 28/11 with Venus perfecting her sextile to Jupiter. This time, Jupiter is slower than Venus. Venus is supporting Jupiter. The exhausting support Venus provided earlier in the month is now being repaid in fairness, supporting you after what tumultuously transpired two weeks prior. Think of a friend who should have been with you during the heavy talk earlier but you were the one who had to coordinate everything to make sure it actually happens. This time, there might be a friend, a partner, or someone close offering to take you out to take your mind off things. Going into the final days of November, you can see a flicker of hope; consider accepting that invite your friend extended. And the month ends, 30/11, with the Sun perfecting his trine to Saturn, and Mercury clearing their retrograde degrees. Communication and agreements are able to move forward out of the swamp they were trudging through before; we end the month with a clearer idea of what boundaries are actually strong enough to stand the test of time.
